Succeeded in reinstalling Windows XP to this comp after formatting yesterday.
Thus fixing this sound/slowdown problem I had since November. Yay!

Same here! :mryellow: Now the sudden-death-rebooting syndrome is gone.
I had to get rid off fragments from previous s-wares wich failed to uninstall.
Now I have yet another new virus software.
