Hi,
I just heard that some people shall have been complaning about the sound of the original Equinoxe contained in the box set, both vinyl and CD. Did anyone notice any problems? I didn't...

Yes very strange indeed... The album is really linked to Anne Parillaud and you can see how much divorcing from her cost him financialy
and emotionaly.

Well, it's the 2014 remaster, so... it's not very good. There's audible noise and audible clicks even on CD. Most of those clicks exist in the source material and were unnoticeable; now they are amplified because of treble boosting and thus pretty apparent.

Thanks! I thought they meant something else, but that's an explanation of course.

That was brilliant. Really good questions asked throughout and answered diligiently and humbly.
Ideally, I would've asked even more in-depth questions on some albums, he really had a cool attitude about it all, and remembered things in detail so many years later - which is always good, you don't see that with every artist, but evidently there wasn't enough time.
Lol at this pic:

Funny story when Jarre tells he refused the role of Jesus Christ in an italian movie...
What did he say?

Amazon just told me that the E:I box, which was supposed to show up today, will now be here late December.
Anyone know where I can order it in the US?

Interesting study of the image editing differences of the Equinoxe LP album covers.
From the bottom; the LP cover in the box set, in the middle MFSL LP cover and at the top a 1980's LP cover. These are all shot in the same frame so no montage going on here.
The new one is not by far as sharp as the oldest cover. The "watchers" has grown bigger and bigger with time.
