It takes time to make a new album for any artist e.g. years and years. At least, the thought is there. That should be enough for any hardcore fan. Mind you, any respectable fan would just appreciate that he is doing something.

And it's not about taking time to make a new album. There's a perfectly complete album lying around since 2002/2003 called "Expirimental 2001", a spiritual successor of "Sessions 2000". This album, recently shown by Francis Rimbert on his Facebook, has never been released and nothing has been done with it (probably, it might have evolved to the Bourges album or something like that, we don't know that). This, plus the two albums he's been working on with other artists and "his personal album", as he described it in an interview...

Rather 2012. It was stated so in a swiss webzine.

In fact, already some time ago announced that Jarre would produce an album together with a number of French electro-musicians. Accordingly, these are apparently not a remix album, but actually is a studio album of new music produced Jarre in collaboration with other artists. Dominique estimated that up to completion still could pass three or four months and then it might be published in March just to match the planned concert in Perth.

These conversations may include record label agreements. You must also remind that Jarre and Vitalic have had an artistic/financial disagreement one year ago, the process of the collaboration album was slowed down for some reason.

You posted that from a scan of a french magazine.

We learned yesterday on French Tv that Jean Michel and Christophe will be releasing an album together in (hopefully) September 2013. Jean Michel may work on three albums right now, plus his business activities and aditionnal work for French music industry.

He said about the colaboration with Christophe in the past, 2007, during an interview by Paris match (to release in 2008/March).

Maybe they should have worked for real together back then, because Christophe got dumped from his recording compagny the following year…
