Charlotte Rampling, Kiefer Sutherland, Kirsten Dunst together with Stellan Skarsgard and some other celebrities are in Trollhättan, Sweden, to meet the press and for filming Lars Von Trier's new project 'Melancholia'. The local region and owners to the film company is spending 10 million kronors in Melancholia. The film project is forced to pay back 15 million and the half of it has allready been paid back. Von Trier is secretive for the TV news of what the movie will be about.
The movie is said to be 'a beautiful movie about a couple and the end of the world'.
On a direct question if there is going to be some science fiction Von Trier says; 'no, not much science fiction. It will be a movie about two sisters...and a planet.'

Typical of the French to be moaning. In the UK men already have to work 'til they're 65 (60 for women) and there's talk that the retirement age will have to rise to 70 to help take the pressure off the national pension scheme

The Italians have already been through that moaning I think.
It's not far from the very end of the whole pension system I guess. Within just a few decades we'll have to work until we're stone dead, because there are no youngsters taking over and nobody wants to spend a nickel on the older and worn out generation. This slowly evolving spiral is just sad to witness.
The only sort of economical security we have after pension in this country is that we are given the possibility to choose between hundreds of lousy pension fund shares.
The message is to keep a damn good eye on the stockmarket if you want to have anything after your "career" is over (if ever). There are no guarantees in funds.
I refuse. I've never cared to lift one finger for this fund madness, so I'm given special fund shares for those morons who doesn't care. Ironicly they've been some of the better choices through the financial crisis since year 2000. But as some are "winners" there are a lot of loosers too and hard working people deserves a better destiny. This is why the whole idea is so very unfair.

If the government had their wish, they would have us work until we are too frail not to.
