Okay, maybe a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year message would have been nice.

I also think it's a pity that now a days JMJ totally seems to have forgotten he's own fan base.

Yet I hope he will take a few minutes off from the Aero toys sometimes this year or before it's too late.

While I get the Aero toys, who is honestly buying that? Me as the avarage fan can't cough up a good 799,- for a speaker system, I can't I have more important things to buy

Maybe Jarre musical output in 2013...
****
The last sentence is interesting. Though, it shows Jarre may be far from completing the album. Still a question, which album does the article refer to? The collaboration or the "self-made" album?
Because we know there will be 2 albums in 2013...again...

Michel Geiss response for me
".........
Regarding a future work with Jean Michel, as I have no request from him, I suppose he has another idea. Some time ago, at least one year ago, he asked me to work on his new projet, but didn't ask me again.
Best regards
Michel "

Guess they are on speaking terms again. Well, that's good at least. Shame nothing is coming out of it.

Once they might work together again, though, having known Jarre, he can change his plans in a minute.

I can't believe that this thread has lasted for nearly 3 years and that people are still hoping for a new album. Just like JMJ perhaps it's time to move on. Recycling the same old hopes and dreams won't bring a new album any faster if at all. What it will do is bring more frustration and disappointment

The real frustrating part are the promises without anything actually happening, if you're not planning on making a new album then simply say so

Yes ! That´s the point. But the media via internet sometimes makes from a mosquito an elephant. Maybe he told something, maybe not. I think he is working on an new album, but it takes time, and I think he maybe don`t be satisfied with the result.

(?) It is his privilege to destroy and change products again.
For about 20-30 years very few people knew that artists are working on a new album. only little pressure for the musician, no disappointed hopes for the fans.
Maybe he should do it like David Bowie, destroying any hope of a new album and then after 8-10 (?) Years there is suddenly a new product

Well were already half way there then!
