There was a mention, that 2009 tour was just a test drive, the real tour begun in 2010, but I can't remember that where it was, maybe in his blog?

True, 2009 was a test run, though it is incorrect to name 2010 as the departure of, lets say, world tour, since numerous press material writes "it has started...then and then..." , furthermore the official press release...

Test run?, what's all this talk of a "test run" from an artist?. Isn't a test run the whole point to the rehersals?. Putting it over that last years concerts were a series of test runs, that does not come over to good for the fans who were paying to see these "tests runs". They were funding these experiments.

The only way I can imagine this tour as a tribute to Arthur C. Clarke is maybe that the tunes Jarre is playing right now were Arthur's favorites... (since he died in 2008)
