Well, probably because after all those years JMJ decided to replace him with "fresh blood" without batting an eyelid. I don't think JMJ and Geiss parted their ways on good terms either. Not sure about Stephane, but he was pretty quick to quit on his own. I suppose JMJ is not a person that is great at dealing with personal relationships, I mean his history with women isn't a stellar example either. He's just a human being and he isn't perfect (and he comes from a broken family - that could be the reason for his behavior)

Look at them analyse them instead of picking on JmJ.

Nearly 20 YEARS JmJ gave Michel Geiss, nearly 30 YEARS JmJ gave Francis Rimbert thats nearly 40% and 60% of JmJ's adult 50year life !

Why would JmJ be held prisoner with someone all his adult life ?

Ungratefulness Bitterness from Rimbert it's the reason JmJ parted with Rimbert toxic personality.

Michel Geiss and JmJ parted nicely.
MG has so many nice things to say about JmJ.

Note Michel Geiss, Dominiqie Perrier never say anything nasty because both decent people
because they know JmJ gave them so much.

JmJ gave Francis, DP, MG a life they would never have experienced :
China (not yet Francis), Houston Lyon, Docklands, Paris La Defense.
More for Francis Moscow, Pyramids, Beijing, Water For Life.

Francis should be eternally grateful.

Ungratefulness Bitterness is a massive barrier to creativity inspiration
that's why Francis has no creativity nowadays.

Three years with JmJ is not pretty quick.

Stephane has his own creative career.
Why would he hang on to JmJ's coat tails rely on JmJ for his career when he has his own.

For me one year is enough i have many creative projects of my own.
I wouldnt be able to give anyone more than one year.

"History with women isnt stellar" implies ditched Women all the time having maybe 20 30 relationships.

When in fact JmJ was married to Charlotte decades. Was always faithful whilst in relationship.
Still deep friendship care they have for one another.

Then he married Anne which didnt work out.
Now he is married to GongLi and they both happy.

Agreed!

(Sadly it also decreases the already non-existent chances for a full virtual La Defense on July 14th ;p)

He should tell his story or shut up.

The posts are deleted now but he was also bitching multiple times about the Electronica project and concerts years back ('I don't recognise the music...it isn't JMJ'). It isn't a good look, comes across as a complete twat.

Oh that's really cool! Wish I managed to get it working, but alas... Maybe next time, if there ever is one!

And once again, Rimbert deleted his post. Yeah, that looks like a perfectly normal behavior...

The question now is this: When are we going to get the CD+book of this concert in the style of these releases? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Jean-Michel-Ja ... SwlRZe1WJ4

Ha, yes! But that does look like the full concert, doesn't it?
