Jean-Michel Jarre: "The purpose of electronics is to bring people together"
In an exclusive conversation with Billboard, the Frenchman talked about telling life through his iconic debut album, collaboration with controversial CIA ex-consultant Edward Snowden and what defines his vitality at age 68. It will be presented on November 9 at the Estadio GEBA.
Jean Michel Jarre is 69 years old, 40 career pioneer of electronic music and, instead of closing ranks with his generation, is a fan of Radiohead and Daft Punk, highlights the contribution of synthesis in rock and prepares his first show in Argentina for the 9 November.

Jean Michel Jarre is the undisputed hero of French commercial music, who turned the electronic environmental rhythm into a matter of national pride in his native France with his album of 1976, Oxygéne, an album that sold 12 million copies and gave "the kick inaugural to the revolution of the synthesizers."
