While this will likely not happen, I think releasing a final part of Oxygene, "Oxygene 21" for the 50th anniversary would be the proverbial cherry on top.

A tribute that comes from the desire to give to the contemporary quest 'musical idea avant-garde, as told by the artist himself: "I do not love anniversaries ... But two years ago, while I was recording" Electronica ", I wrote a song ( today "Oxygène 19") that made me think about what would "Oxygène" if he were writing today. So I gave myself the 40th anniversary of my debut album as a term within which to try to compose this new chapter in just six weeks (just like I did with the first disc), probably to avoid thinking about it too much, reflect too much on ideas, and also to record all in a 'single session.

OXYGENE has been an incredible journey for me. I still remember sitting in a car in Australia and hearing it on the radio. Such a surreal moment to have my music traveling the world. Over the years many of you have told me your personal OXYGENE story. What better moment to share them than the 40th anniversary. I would love to hear your personal moments: concert tickets, fotos, stories, videos….Please post them with #OxygeneSeries to be able to find them.
