Didier is less popular in France than Jean Michel... I think that's the point.
Totally off-topic, but I remember the audience boo-ing him because he dissed Jarre. It was in 1994, at the night of the Victoire de la Musique, iirc. On France 2, the Victoires show was on and on TV5 there was a discussion programme about the music industry. Didier was there too. At one point he critisized Jarre for getting people bankrupt (the whole CICS thing was going on at that moment). The audience who attended the show started boo-ing him for that comment.

Their F1 weekend prices. I really want to go now. Even if I only get to take photos of the Fairmont hairpin bend before my camera dies and I have to charge it for the concert.

I know. I can't go on holiday now ever. That is my holiday for my life with those prices.

Well, I may have a chance after the weekend of being there. So long as I sit on my hands and not pay for anything until November.

I may make an exception for food for Freyja. I'll scrounge mine from Mum and Dad.

I somehow get the feeling, that this concert is the reason, the originally planned 2010-dvd/bluray got cancelled. The Monte Carlo harbour is a way more interesting scenery than a concert hall plus you have the royal wedding as its background to market it. Great chance.
I won't be making it: It's too expensive for me to go there. I hope there will be live broadcast somewhere. I figure it's going to be great - something like Gdansk meets Docklands. Looking forward to it.
