those LD players aren't that expensive according to what I've seen, mainly on eBay

True, but still to expensive to play one disc on from time to time. Haven't got the space for one either (at least that's what my Misses tells me :( )

But Palawan is on DVD.

Y'know I used to have a LD player and tons of LDs but sold them all on eBay.

Also, the LDs I couldn't get on DVD, I burned DVDs from the LD like Criterion Collection of Terry Gilliam, etc. Anyway the resolution on DVD is far superior to LD and more importantly on LDs suffer from Laser Rot (eventually) because of the glue/chemicals they used to make the LD.

They will become like the 8-track tape one day.

Yeah, but his point is - palawan was also released on dvd, not solely on ld, so you can get it anyway... ;)

Also...

Even though the tolerance concert DVD is a bootleg.

It is professionally pressed and very nice! Better than all those burned copies for sale on eBay (which start skipping after time).

Come to think of it...the bootleg 2CD (also factory pressed) is great as well!

Yeah, that one is excellent. It could have been an official release if the mixing/mastering was only a little better...
