Sorry to be frank, but that's a hypercritical comment to make considering BEFORE Dreyfus's death, Jarre didn't like him. Or is Jarre kissing ass for the sake of a record label.
To be fair to JMJ he did expand on his reasons for dedicating this to FD, and acknowledged the problems they had:

JMJ Interview

This interview I had not seen before, thank you. Atleast he must have resolved some issues, if not all, to get his foot in the door with Dreyfus Music. Afterall said and done, still wasn't nice what FD did across Jarre and the fans.

You're welcome :D
There must have been a warming of relations before Francis Dreyfus died, as JMJ publicly acknowledged him when receiving the Mojo Award. Also the furore concerning the 'Oxygene New Master Recording' never escaled, at least not publicly. It was nice to hear JMJ dedicate the release to the Dreyfus family.

Well... It depends on Jarre's mood I guess... The one time he just presses one copy and the other time 2000 :P

Actually, that's a good question. The digital version would be surely available Europe-wide. The published picture has English titles, so I'd say it will be released in various other countries also.

No, it was not nice but if Jean Michel chooses to to this then I am 101% behind him. I am one of those fans who had their videos removed from YouTube by FDM but I cannot feel the excitement and not buy the album because of this.

I sense it was more the fans who didn't like him, than Jarre himself. :pwned: :punch:

Is Jarre expressing his feeling towards Dreyfus anywhere?
