The same how people make your/you're mistakes... must be somehow related to pronouncing things.

Luckily I don't pronounce and state things how they read like a proper Finn does! :P

Looking at the news tonight, with the reports about the conflict in the Middle East... these quotes - two from a very wise man - came to mind...

Taking an eye for an eye will only turn the whole world blind...

All humanity is one individed and indivisible family, and each one of us is responsible for the misdeeds of all the others. I cannot detach myself from the wickedest soul...

both from Mahatma Gandhi
----------------------------------------
If blood will flow
When flesh and steel are one
Drying in the colour
Of the evening sun

Tomorrows rains
Would wash the stains away
But something in our minds
Will always stay

Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetimes argument
That Nothing comes from violence
And nothing ever could

For all us born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are....

If the "conflict" in the ME can be called a conflict ... more like Mussolini vs the Ethiopians in 1920' & 30's
then it bears remembering that in such a "conflict"
no party is either completely innocent or totally guilty.
Rather one party is more guilty and the other more innocent.

I think that when you are the most likely to feel bitter, depressed or sad it has to do with you not knowing were you stand in life - and you are ending up totally lost.

That was what I have been thinking about today!

...thought I would revive this thread....just for the fun of it...

Most of us are just about as happy as we make up our minds to be

He who does not understand your silence will probably not understand your words.

...my personal thought of the day.....
Why do I bother speaking to others @ work when the only reaction I get is indifference...? I can see their eyes start to glaze over as I talk... that is if I am not totally ignored of course...and they wonder why I don't say much when that is the reaction I get...
 :? :(

I always tend too think: it's as complicated and mixed up as you make it yourself. Think straight and things can be solved in a breath...

I solve depressions by thinking of naked women.

Unless I'm already doing that all the time. So then there would be no depression...

So...yay for mind power! Use it well, use it for good! :P
