Great pic. I note the acoustic tiles on the angled wall of your loft area. How do you find the sound from your monitors in comparison to a normal shaped room? Only ask as I also have a loft conversion and plan on using it as a future studio room one day.

Korg Radias is the latest bit of kit, influenced by the you tube demo vids provided by ' StudioF ' on here. Cheers man !

Jup 8 went a long time ago, great synth but not worth the £2,000 someone offered me for it.

OSCar was sold to someone I know in the US. Best all round mono IMO when considering sounds you can get out of it plus MIDI and patch memory, but mono's just don't stick with me for too long, particularly as I don't normally have the room. Had a clearout recently to get funds for the Radias..... so no more synths in the corner of the room not getting used.

Looks impressive anyway

The sound is more dead,than how it used to be with the walls bare,the Reverberation was awful at times,but the trouble is although I have deadened the reflections off the sloping walls,I still have to contest with the reflections off the Desk and surrounding gear when I'm mixing,although my mix position is now more of the Pyramid setup and so I'm sitting more in the sweetspot,and nearer to the Monitors,the tiles were more of an additional fix to help reflection in the room,Its certainly Helped with the Mixes having the Acoustic tiles,I Would like to have a more well treated studio(One day )I do have to sort out the Issue with the speakers though and demount them off the desk,I 'm looking at getting some Auralex speaker pads.I'd also like to build a makeshift Vocal Booth too(When I get the Time )

Sometimes, smaller is better (sometimes lol)...

I have some synths in the corner, not being used. If they stay there for too long, I'll consider I can sell them.

Equinox - Thanks for the info, the effect on sound by the shape of a loft conversion room has concerned me quite a bit and may put me off completely.... Good luck with your efforts. My current monitor placement, whilst level and directional to mixing position, is very poor on the shelves but difficult to improve in the current space.

Or how about my new resident...The Mark 1....my second model ten years later,Although I'm not a huge fan of the Nords I couldn't see this one go to rot for the Price I got it,seeing as it was almost non working...

Gave it some TLC as many keys and Buttons were not working,due to dirty contacts,also had to solder 5 New Led's On as a some were damaged(Smashed)Looked like the previous owner had poked something down the Holes and some not lighting up and now looks and sounds Like a dream. fully functional..Not decided on whether to Keep it yet though...

Anyone know how to reset it back to Factory presets??The manual doesn't mention anything,and I can't find any sites that are dedicated to the MK1,except the Clavia as a discontinued product and a Few patch banks.
