Early rumours are almost always fake unless it comes directly from the management or something like Aero productions. Even if it came from Jean michel Jarre, the title could change

I think the announcements of the album title will first be revealed shortly before the release.

Not necessarly. Aero title was announced at end of June or more earlier the album was released in September.
Geometry of Love title was announced in July, relase date is September

Ofcourse, by especially those releases were some special projects. Who knows, I have just learned that some album and movie titles are sometimes changing after quietly announcements or romours. Im just prepared against any rumours. Ofcourse JMJ must be at the end of the production of his forthcoming album so his inspirations must be more or less finished. I really don't know, Im just talking crap, I think

If they change the title each time there is a rumour, they will change it all the time
But they have to better to not choose "Melancholic Rodeo", I don't like it and I'm sure I'm not the only one

If Jarre has a concert next month, a new single next month, the single could be released not long after the concert (or at the concert), with Jarre playing the single at the concert. The single will have to contain details of the new album because it's a form of publicity. The single is the key to the album.

Unless he plays it safe and just keeps it simple

"Taken from the new Jean Michel Jarre album - coming soon", but that does not sound professional.

So is there a release date for the new single? Isn't it supposed to be released in December?

Yes, this month the has to release, about christmas, they say. But no exact date yet.

The release of the single is postponed until further notice.

And some other mysterious rumours from another topic said not untill Spring next year.
