You know it's nice to have a t-shirt as a souvenir from a great concert, or , like LeeLene said - to make it on your own, using your personal project, putting some effort in it and knowing that you're probably the only one with such a t-shirt.
But such a mass production... Take for example the cups - just white, with no images. I can go to the supermarket and get exactly the same for no more than 5 zl (about 2 euro), the only difference is no Jarre's surname connected with the brand.
That's tricky - as you go to buy a t-shirt...OK, fantastic, I get it...let's see what's more here...a clock!...haven't I always dreamed of one with Equinoxe motif...? Sure! Mmm...some nice teddy-bear...what a great coincidence, my daughter has birthday in two-week time! Cups...didn't I need one for work..? The package is probably free from 100 euro, so why not to have one!
I know that no everybody will be catched on that, but there're also many who will, unfortunately...you'll probably say "well, welcome to today's world" and you'll be right...what doesn't mean must be happy because of that and with a wide smile change half of my wardrobe to clothes with Jarre's faces.
It's like Mona Lisa on the mouse mat....just stops to be art and becomes the part of pop-culture.
The only positive I see, is that's quite funny in some way
...not happy, but funny.
