alright... I've just checked the demos, and indeed I thought it was worth a higher price, but it's not.
The vocoder sounds as bad as a VA vocoder can sound. The rest... mini keys, few knobs, techno/dance/etc. categories to chose from... and only 4-voice polyphony

Those minikeys are actually quite comfy to play... and the sounds are not bad at all...
So I wouldn't judge too soon if I were you

what interested me was the vocoder actually
from the demos I've heard of the vocoder, it sounds like the Alesis Ion - ie nothing great.

I thought the Ion's vocoder was a LOT better than the microKorg's....
The MK is around £270 here.
The minikeys are fine.

Like all the wise heads say... never judge a synth on the presets! they are in many cases techno/dance programs.

Good price, but try the secondhand market, you can find many microKORG never used for less than 250€
