After 4 days of rehearsals at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.. yesterday night was the kick off of the Electronica Tour..!

What an audience..! Great vibes..!

The show is quite improved from last summer, and I am lucky to have such a fantastic crew. We worked a lot with Jvan and the team on the visuals and all the 3D effects are mind blowing.!

Now some geek comments;-):
On stage I have more instruments: a bran new Roland System8 with a system 500 and Sy 84 eurorack versions attached to it .. really fun.! Thanks to Roland Japan it arrived few hours before the show.
I also have my favorite Moog sub37 and on the back the AKS, a Buchla ( a special thought to Don Buchla who passed away last week...) and my Arp2600 all connected via cv gate to my main controller.

With Stephane, we are still developing the transparent glass touch screen controller.. it is in constant work in progress at the moment, lots of possibilities...

Claude and Stephane are also taking care of some vocoder parts and with some extra gear as well.

Tomorrow is Brighton, looking forward to it ..!

Après quatre jours de répétitions à la Motorpoint Arena à Cardiff .. le coup d'envoi de l'Electronica Tour a été donné hier soir.

Quel public et quel énergie !..

Le spectacle a évolué depuis l'été dernier et je suis chanceux d'avoir équipe fantastique. Nous avons beaucoup travaillé avec Jvan et toute l'équipe sur les visuels et tous les effets 3D sont à couper souffle.!

Maintenant, un petit moment geek ;-):
Sur scène, j'ai plusieurs instruments:
Le nouveau Roland System8 avec un système 500 et Sy 84 versions eurorack.. Merci à Roland Japon car tout est arrivé quelques heures avant le spectacle.!. J'ai aussi mon sub37 Moog préféré, des AKS, un Buchla (une pensée spéciale à Don Buchla qui est décédé la semaine dernière ...) et mon ARP2600 tous connectés via CV gate à mon contrôleur principal

Avec Stéphane, nous continuons de développer le contrôleur de l'écran tactile transparent ...

Show #2...Sunny and bright Brighton .. lots of memories.. I went there for the first time when I was 14 years old.. playing with my first rock band.. the city and the beach remain the same.. Brighton was great.. still fine tunings before London...

To make a great gig, you need a great concert and a great audience .. we had both last night ..! The concert at the O2 in London will remain as one of my great moments on stage..Thank you all both the crew and the audience.!
To play the best and largest arena in Europe full of such fantastic people is a real privilege and a strong encouragement for the rest of the tour..!

After a very special Dublin gig where I change the setlist for a great Irish audience...Leeds and Glasgow, the two last gigs in the U.K. received me with loud and warm welcomes. I feel the audience more and more enthusiastic as we move on !
Backstage last night, I caught up with Ben from Fuck Buttons & Ken MacBeth who gave me a present of his latest synth marvel.

Thank you all in the U.K. and Ireland for such unique moments..!!!!
Back in Paris for TV appearance tonight then early train to Frankfurt tomorrow...

Après un concert très spécial à Dublin où j'ai changé la setlist pour un super public irlandais ... j'ai reçu un accueil très chaleureux à Leeds et Glasgow pour les deux derniers concerts au Royaume-Uni. Je ressens le public de plus en plus enthousiaste au fur et à mesure que nous avançons!
Backstage hier soir, j'ai pu voir Ben de Fuck Buttons & Ken MacBeth qui m'a donné un cadeau sa dernière merveille de synthé.

Merci à vous tous au Royaume Uni et en Irlande pour ces moments uniques .. !!! Retour à Paris pour l'apparence de la télé ce soir puis train tôt pour Francfort demain ...
