I know there are several fans who follow JMJ whether it's China, Egypt or Gdansk.
Well? My mother is British, I've been to England at least 12 times in my life. France 3 times and I shot a commercial on the streets of Paris. I also visited Turkey, Greece, Italy, the South of France and Spain on one summer trip... but most importantly, the almighty American dollar SUCKS compared to the Euro so it would cost me double. But yeah, a trip to Europe is always a breath of fresh air for me. Just not this year.

Seriously, nothing wrong with the UK. Used to spend my summers in Richmond as a young kid and even had an accent for a while. "Mummy can I have another crisp?" Loved the little army men you could collect and all the Tintin books and Dr. Who and have an Aunt & Uncle who run a Bed & Breakfast in the Dales (Yorkshire) called "The Thrang". Just been there, done that and for some reason it depresses me. Maybe it's the "bloody" weather.

@moviemaker: you should go to Berlin - a very nice place for making movies. Great locations and a lot of atmosphere in this exciting city. Maybe you can shot there "Valkyrie 2" in a few years...

Actually... I'm dying to go to Berlin!!! I here it is amazing place. I went to film school with a German director named Nils and he would rave about it and showed me pictures. The architecture... wow!
I was surprised, Valkyrie was not a bad movie despite Tom Cruise. All those brilliant British actors weighed him out. In my version they would all have to all speak German. Actually I'm a big fan of several German directors new and old. One new one would be Tom Tykwer... super talented!
