I just noticed something...'Monty Python' and 'Flying Circus' are two choices in the poll, but 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' is one show!
(BTW, I still don't see Red Dwarf...

Sorry, but no.
Are you for real???????
RM +AE are 2 of the best English Scriptwriters, not just comedy.......
If you dont find BOTTOM funny, then you obviously dont possess a funny bone in your body.....
These guys are pure genius
I had the fortunate chance to Meet Mr Mayall at a booksigning for his Autobiography,he was really witty and a great down to earth guy,I asked him if he was ever gonna do any more Bottom again.
He told me he was Married with 2 kids ,but if ever there was a chance he would turn Queer he would give me a ring........He asked his manager to escort me to the Adult section to find what i was looking for.....Had everyone in stitches......
He then apologised for embarrasing me and asked me for my Phone number,as he would call me if he ever fancied meeting up in the Toilets of Micheal wood services on the M5!!!!!much to the bemusement of the women standing behind me! You could hear her say to her mate that she never knew Rik was Gay!!!some people just dont understand comedy!!!
After signing my copy of his book, and after he stopped taking the Piss,he told me they had no plans to do anymore yet ,but said they had never given up on doing it again...

There are many of those series I don't know, after all, not all of 'em get broadcast on Danish television. Most are American.

I don't find Bottom that funny anymore, I think they ran out of ideas. Recently Ade Edmundson, Rik Mayall and Nigel Planar tried to revive 'The Comic Strip Presents' - it was bollox, the biggest comedy failure in ages, needless to say they didn't make another one.

Hmm...
I quite enjoy "
Yes, (Prime) Minister".
It's a brilliant satira of real politics, power games, economics and cartels of incompetence.
But you have the learn to like it and be into the subjects, otherwise it will seem dull.
Kind Regards,
AMR
