Nah, for very good samples of acoustic instruments is it exellent. But indeed, it's not my favorite synth.

Anyway I have decided to buy a Nordlead 2X from new, then I will have to spend about 400 more euro compared to that one I was going to buy second hand. It's expensive, but then I don't have to think about waiting another half year. I'll just have to see if the Bank can loan me some money within the next month.

Have at one time or another bought then sold on W5 & AN1x.
Had the SY85 also, though not SY77 : although I did demo one.
Whatever your good reasons for wanting these synths :
I personally would buy just the AN1x again ... if it was a very low price.
But then again ...
nowadays I am just doodling with soft synths & software sample banks.

Further Items on my wishlist....To replace my Analog Mixer with a digital model.....
and now....
the Yammi 02R....This thing weighs a tonne!!!!Well not quite...31kgs...but its enough to give you a hernia...
so up for sale will be my Aging Behringer MX3282A...
Wanted an 02R for a few years now,but prices have dropped considerably so jumped at the chance to replace my old analog...means now I can keep my music totally within the digital domain...

Yes,all the faders are motorized,you can have them automated via Program change messages on external sequencer or sync the 02R to SMPTE/MTC/Midi clock and have the faders move according to the automation(scenes) you programmed in the 02R internal settings...you can automate almost everything within the machine,the only thing not able to be automated is the Input line levels..(gain pots)
Quite a sophisticated mixer actually,I've been after one for a long time,as i'm so used to using automated Mixes now on the Multitrack that i had to find a replacement for the Behringer .....and finding a digital desk with the same amount of Inputs and Auxillaries as the MX3282A is quite difficult unless you look at the Yamaha 02R96 Or a DMX console...which start running into 10's thousands of pounds the 02R i have has 3 expansion cards which gives me a total of 40 inputs and 16 Auxillary sends,which is sufficient..I was after a model that had the ADAT expansions this one has 2 giving me 16 ins and outs on Lightpipe,so i can hook it direct up to the Multitrack without any signal loss...even has Surround mixing capability,which considering this mixer is approaching ten years old is quite astonishing,and Here was Jarre saying he couldn't release AERO until 2004 because the technology was not availible?????maybe he didnt look in the right places!!!
manual mixing is ok,but when everything can be automated it makes life so much easier,I was fed up with having to write down EQ settings fader setting etc,now i can recall everything at the touch of a button,I could have gone down the software route,but I'm not a fan of software except for sequencing,plus i still want digital audio but with Analog integration with the Knobs,and faders etc....the Eq on this machine is superb,perhaps the best EQ i've used to date...compression on every channel too which is a bonus....
Just need to house this beast now!!!!Cant beleive how much this thing weighs.....
think of the weight of a Yamaha CS80 and you can appreciatte how heavy it is...

CS80 weighs 100 kg I think.
It's exactly the kind of mixer I'd like to use... But not in my budget yet... Someday certainly!
