Got my copy in and listening to the show right now and, I hadn't noticed during the live show, but... Are they using the exact same audience clapping effect as they did during the Monaco stream?!

Edit: And I couldn't for the life of me find any DR values for this release, so went and did so myself:
CD: DR7 (total average)
Blu-ray album: DR14 (total average of both the DTS and Dolby 5.0 mix)
Binaural: DR8 (total average)

Haven't checked the DR value of the actual concert on the blu-ray though, I accidentally deleted the wrong file and can't retrieve it because I always shift+del my stuff

Curious what's different from the previous showcase.

Looks like extracts from WttOS in 3D, I'll try it out with my cardbox 3D viewer tomorrow.

No word whatsoever on Zoolook 40 stuff, but a 7-minute-video (which might be nice with 3D viewers, sure) gets the full newsletter treatment, sheesh

Downloaded the video from Youtube since its in equirectangular format so I can watch it on the old playstation VR1 headset.
But wondering if they messed up with the video given the older Herbalizer video is in 360 degree mode as well but it has a panning (for head tracking?) feature and isn't equirectangular format when viewed on any normal display.
Sorry if that doesn't make much sense but if anyone compares the videos they will hopefully see what I mean.

This one is not 360 degrees, that's the difference, right? I am not really into these formats, but this look like a video with only a left and right image.

I've tried the YouTube stream in Meta Quest and the video is 360 degrees (you can also choose 180 degrees). Cool to watch and look around!

07/01/2025 - Artists and cultural personalities: their view on the "renaissance" of Notre-Dame
- Jean-Michel Jarre: "Notre-Dame has a revolutionary side"
Musician and composer of electronic music, gave a concert in Notre-Dame virtuelle on December 31, 2020
"I was very impressed, like each of us, by what happened at Notre-Dame, also because there was a kind of rather strange synchronism with Covid. It's as if we were all weakened at the same time as the cathedral.
There was a symbolism that seemed really interesting to me and a message of hope for the new year 2021, the hope that we will finally be able to curb Covid and that we can be reborn like the cathedral.
To reproduce it digitally, we started from a modeling that the French video game company Ubisoft had made for one of their games and that was very faithful.
In the end, we had more than 75 million people who followed us and it shows the convergence that there was between the concert itself, the innovative side of the virtual reality project and Notre-Dame.
What is often forgotten is that the people who were at the origin of the design of Notre-Dame were absolute visionaries who absolutely revolutionized the technologies of the time in terms of construction, masonry, in artistic terms as well, the creation of stained glass windows. Notre-Dame therefore has, in itself, a revolutionary side.
On a personal level, it interested me a lot and I thought that the best way to pay tribute to a futuristic building like Notre-Dame was to do it with the means and tools of our time, trying to be as innovative and visionary as the people who built it."
