Guys, calm down.
You know, as well as many others, that Jarre changes his mind more times than I change my socks. If you don't like the track listing from what has been posted up in terms of "spoilers", that is your own decision and your own money if you wish to attend a concert or not - But at the end of the day, you still know that Jarre changes his mind on this, that and the other more times than we care to remember. Jarre has to cater for all, not individuals. The current track listing has no major change from last year, and as Jakob rightly pointed out, this is a continuation, regardless if Jarre himself stated there would be changes. Again, this is typical Jarre changing his mind of which we have all come to know. But, he is playing safe, but do you blame him?.
In the past couple of years we have had 2 major tours - Oxygene and this "best of". Remember the time when we had to wait years for a Jarre concert? and those concerts where Jarre "mimed"?. My god, were getting a lengthy set of tours and all "live". Maybe Jarre should return back to his previous self and jump around stage with lasers, lights, fireworks, skyscrappers and custom keyboards - ah wait, those years are long gone plus he's turning 62 this year. Most artists would have thrown the towel in by now. Enjoy it while it lasts, that's what I recommend. And, I'm sure Jarre would agree - just enjoy the show.

well said! I say everybody hold on to their socks - you never know what might be in stock for the rest of the shows - after all, Katowice was only the beginning.

My main problem is that people are complaining about the tracklist being the same as last year, while the concerts are part of the same tour and is now in countries which he didn't visit or sparcely visited last year.

I don't understand the complaints about the set-list - it looks excellent - even better than the 2009 leg.
Oxygene 4, Equinoxe 4, Equinoxe 5, Equinoxe 7, Magnetic Fields 2, Rendez-Vous 2, Rendez-Vous 4, Chronologie 2...
these are all concert classics, quite well known and are generally appreciated more by people at large than, say Arpegiator, Teo & Tea, Millions Of Stars, Chronologie 3... for example, which appeal to some fans, but may get lost on the public.
Prior to 2009, the last time the 3 big well-known Equinoxe tracks were played at the same concert was Houston! Now we have RV4 added to the set too!
Are people suggesting that these songs are removed from the set-list? I think that would cause a much bigger disappointment. Yes, given the choice, I'd rather Chronologie 4 than that new song, and Ethnicolor/Zoolookologie mix rather than Oxygene 5/Variation, and Calypso rather than Calypso 3. However, my personal opinion is that it's the best set list since Paris La Defense.
And there's been one reported setlist for one show... who's to say there's not going to be some variation????

Okay, you are entitled to it. But this world would be boring if we agreed with everything. I have mix feelings at the moment but will endeavor to make every effort to see JMJ in concert this year. I don't regret spending my money to see him in Paris in 22 days time or in Birmingham in October after seeing the Poland concert footage.

Although I can both sides of the argument, the bit that says
"That is very biased" is aimed directly at 'rfoshaug' for his comment of agreement, but the
"Not wish to be rude but maybe we should just let Jon have the thread to himself" does make me look a idiot and pig-headed, while being pointed out by a member of staff

But I am sure that there are fans that are disappointed and just like that there are fans that are pleased, with the outcome what they have heard and seen from the Poland concert. No win situation.

And there are concerts in Germany the next 3 days after this one. Not bad for a man his age! Respect!!
BTW, one thing I found extremely cool is that the big screen is used to show the arists' hands playing. This leaves no room for playback!
