Got lucky this morning and picked up a Roland MC-505 for £100. Apart from a small chip in the paint on the very tip of the corner of the body and a 1 cm fine scratch, it in pretty damn good shape. It was, however, filthy. Stripped it all down. Cleaned all the contacts. Gave it a good service and now it's all perfect.
What a great machine too. Has some really superb sounds and plenty of vinatge stuff in there too.

I bet it's quite fun to play with. Grooveboxes are nice
I miss the feeling of getting new gear, but in general I just miss my synths. It annoys me that I don't have space for it here in my flat.
Perhaps there's space for my AX-Synth, then I can just sit in my sofa playing around on it as with a guitar.

Not sure if it counts as a synth purchase, but I've just gone and ordered myself a Korg Kaossilator..brings my total count to 3...Electribe EA1, Univox SR-95 (need to mod it!..lol)
Now if I could just play some JMJ..lol...I must admit i'm quite happy knocking together loops and whatnot on the EA-1..
I'm sure I actually had something serious to do today..lol
