Agree, that album is great... it was always going to have critics, given the 1978 "original" is one of the most immaculate pieces of electronic music ever made. The Infinity album aims for that sweet spot, a modern version that recognises its origins. It walks a tightrope, and sometimes it falls off (!) but when the balance is right, it has a wonderful mix of being fresh yet familiar.

Flying Totems – that always reminds me of Chrono Pt 2 – would work really well live as would The Watchers as a concert opener, especially if he can create a “wow” factor with some opening AI visuals that tie in with The Watchers.

And Infinity (Movt. 6) is a banger, the critics are wrong!

I'm genuinely surprised that Mvt 6 hasn't made it to any of the concerts.

I seriously admire his work ethic. I mean, he's 76 years old, has nothing to prove, and this summer's tour isn't necessary in the sense it's not promoting an album release or linked to any particular event. It's just a series of shows for the sake of performance itself. And here he is in rehearsals in London, with full stage set up ... lights, music and visuals.

Is this London rehearsal room anything to do with JMJ’s links with the London SXSW event that is on this week? If so, I walked past it just yesterday, on Bishopsgate.

Interview: Jean-Michel Jarre: the man who comes from the future
Summer 2025 very Italian for Jean-Michel Jarre, between concerts, exhibitions, installations. With a lot to discover and tell about artificial intelligence

Nothing on Adiescar's social media about rehersals or the tour. And if no Adiescar, then does this mean no Time Machine in the style of Bratislava or La Rochelle? And if that is the case, what track will be the show finale?

For the finale, he may play Alone (khmm) Together?
Well, the stage design..."whispering" something...

If this gets confirmed, one (more) reason for me, to not going. Adiescar was a very "nice touch."

He never had an outdoor tour without other musicians playing with him, because most of his tracks can't be performed live alone witout addicitonal keyboard players anyway. That would be more like a DJ playing music from a CD.

I personally don't believe it, I think it's a trick or something or maybe the stage has not been built yet when the video was made. I think JMJ has to start rehearsing earlier than the others, because he has to understand everything.

Can somebody here contact JMJ's team? Because it doesn't seem believable. The tickets wouldn't be so expensive if it's just one guy standing on the stage, come on!
