Hello everybody this morning i have ripped with youtube downloader the movie and converted it to mp3

the i cut te cracking sound in the beginning and then split it i seperated tracks.

Somehow I knew I was going to get that question .... it's not a difficult sound really... if you have the right gear ....

I have to warn you: Arturia's 2600 is NOT like the real 2600 if you feed it with the correct settings (compared to mine) then you'll notice the sound IS different. For a better digital repesentation you should use the TimeWARP 2600...

Wich reminds me you did not give wich ARP in your answer ... but anyway here is the patch:



Don't mind the wires... none is used for the o4 patch...

Be sure to post the result here too so we can have a nice analog vs digital comparison.... Try to make the second part (the one that sounds distorted)... I bet you won't get any digital version to do that... the secret is the modulation of the cutoff at audio frequencies...(in this case VCO 2)

As you can hear on the last sound it's like some delay or so is used... it's not.. the sound comes directly from the 2600. Because the springs of the reverb are individually activated you can hear some form of delay. There is also mechanical feedback...

Well, I have some problems when recreating the sound, I'm not a god with this synth...

Offtopic: I agree totally with that. But I think it fits pretty well on all of Arturias software. They look good, sound pretty analog but not like the synths they're trying to emulate. I think that Gmedia/Gforce is doing better job on that.

IMHO moog emulations are pretty 99% close...

Oh yes. The Moog Modular is a very good emulation. So is the Minimoog even though I like Minimosta better.

The problem for me with Arturia is the CS80V, ARP2600V and the Prophet V...they sound warm and all that but not very much like the real ones. It's like they've just taken their Moog-emulations and put it in a different cover. More graphics than actual soundemulation!?

OK, I've bought a new soundcard for my PC a few days ago (Terratec Phase X24 FW) which is my very first attempt to start recording music in my computer...yeah yeah...I know I'm late.

Today I started to record and used one of my favorite synthesizers. A very fun experience but still very new to me. Cubase LE is somewhat buggy but still its perfect for me. Beware of bad mixing and other things! It's just a test.

Well, here it is. 1 hardware synthesizer, recorded on four tracks. Only effects...reverb and a little bit of delay.
