Very nice setup, how limited the VP330 is? Everytime a musician use it, it's a different sound coming out, but I can't spot what features it uses for tweeking the sounds.

VP-330 is a vocoder with strings ensemble and choir preset.

Controls are :
- Vocoder/Choir Attack
- String Ensemble Attack
- Release (Vocoder, Choir and String Ensemble)
- Chorus On/Off for Choir and Vocoder.
- Adjustable Tone for Vocoder and String Ensemble (dark or bright).
- Vibrato controls for Vocoder and Choir.
- Mix faders for Human voice and String Ensemble but also for direct Micro (you can mix or not your real voice on Vocoder sound or not).
- INPUT : "Hold" and "Pitch" for Vocoder
- INPUT : External synth if you want to bypass the choir sound as carrier.

Output is stereo (nice with Chorus activated).

I bought the OB-SX for a low price. Sound is warmer than OB-Xa, it is close to OB-X, sadly lots of voices need to be fixed on mine, only 2 work perfectly after calibrating, lovely sound altought.

There are some great clavinet samples on the Roland SRJV80 board (keys of 60s & 70s), I like to use them from time to time

Real Clavinet sound is really different because you have steel string under each key.

It is a bit like a keyboarded electro-acoustic guitar, small harmonics appears when you press several keys, so it is impossible to have a real convincing Clavinet sound with simple sample method.

So for me, nothing sound like real.

For me the samples sound just good, that's all I need, no matter if it sounds like the real thing or not, I don't use them to make believe it's a real one, but just to add a different color to my songs.

Not a studio, just a crappy greenlighted picture of my keyboards on my newly arrived stand That thing is solid, those keyboards are like feathers on a cement floor.

That't the problem I have never learned to put together a track like in sequence it, which in fact is supposed to be the easy part. It is quite irritating with this lack og knowledge.

You will see, that's not hard at all, I use a software sequencer, Orion Platinum, and it is really easy to use !!
