Just my 2 cents about the new teaser.
I think the pigeons video is genial and does totally reflect JMJ's current eco-ideology.
As noticed by many of you, Oxygene's penguins are now replaced with pigeons.
That's not casual, let's think at that. Penguins represent ice, nature. Ice which is melting down nowadays, because of us.
Now after 30 years we get pigeons who populate crowded, polluted cities instead of penguins who use to live in the beauty of pristine nature. A forgotten nature which is now disappearing.
Another point would be, as well pointed out by both TheDoubt and Moviemaker, the "rewind" effect used to make the clip. Backward means back to the origins, to the Oxygene before it is eaten and run out by our everyday-city-neighbours.
More then ever, it is easy to admit there is no photographic research in the images, which contributes to give a closer, realistic view of what pigeons actually are. There isn't any intent to make them appear nice at all. And that is most likely a choice.
I'm also going to make another comparison...penguins are funny. That's put in place in the original Oxygene 4 video too! They also look even friendly (the recent movie by Luc Jacquet about them can be a good example).
Pigeons, as opposite, always looked as annoying. They also seem to think about food all the time, don't they? That's a very consumeristic approach to life, which is quite usual in our today's urban world. So, here we have a one more plaint against our unhealthy society.
To make a sum, I am not sure this video meant to be such full of meanings. However let me finally say I'd hardly have been spending some time trying to give my personal interpretation of a stupid teaser if I believed it was not stupid at all, but actually outstanding.
I reckon we can expect good things from JMJ's very next future.
