Remix Jean-Michel Jarre with metapop
Legendary musician Jean-Michel Jarre has teamed up with metapop, giving users the opportunity to remix two of that producer’s recent tracks, 'Robot’s Don’t Cry', and 'Infinity'.
ith new LP Equinoxe Infinity released on November 16th, a follow up to the classic 1978, Jean-Michel Jarre has provided metapop with two tracks taken from the new record. You can download track stems for ‘Robots Don’t Cry‘ and ‘Infinity‘ over at metapop now. Remixes must be over two minutes in length, and include non-copyright infringing material. Prizes for winning remixes include a KOMPLETE KONTROL A-SERIES 25, MASCHINE MIKRO, and NI shop voucher.

Going for the big bucks now... I'd rate that record as one of the absolute lows of JMJ's career, though, but rarity's a rarity.

I think I bought that one about 5/6 years ago for about €70 if I recall correctly. I quite enjoy it as literal background noise, but it's absolutely not something I sit for and listen to.

I've gotta admit, every time that annoying looking one is relisted on eBay (with all the other Docklands slides), I do slightly feel like buying it just so I'd never have to look at it again
