I'll have to disagree here. Of course +30-40 degrees C is too much for the human body, but we wouldn't survive long in minus degrees. Clothes is something else. In cold weather, the clothes helps us, but it's a more tricky situation when it's hot, because we cannot just take some clothes on. The face, fingers and feet are difficult to keep warm. If the human body was built to survive cold weather, we would wear fur. If it's possible to walk around naked outside without feeling too hot or cold, it's the perfect weather :fine: :punch:
Think you forget that you need clothes as well to protect yourself from excessive heat.
And, as far as I know, the spine (as in your 'back') and the feet are the most important limbs to keep warm. Test it for yourself: take a shower in an otherwise cold bathroom and use the shower to try which parts of your body react the most to the warm water. If you aim the shower at your back, you'll be fine most of the time. Aim at the lower half of your legs and feet and you will experience something similar on a smaller scale. Try your fingers or face: you will get cold in seconds... :wink2:

Interesting schminteresting... :robertdugenou:

That is down to the nerves not temperatures of our Bones, our spines are the most sensitive and contain the most nerves in all of our bones, most of our Aches and pains are centred from the spine, unless its an organ problem, the best way to keep yourself cool is not to hydrate yourself with cool drinks but to run Cold water over your wrists or take a tepid bath and this is due to the Vein flow around our nerve endings think of it like a Radiator on a car,if you know how a car coolant system works you'll see how our bodies work in a similar way with heat dissipation.Clothes although may seem odd can help to keep us cool and protected from high temperatures providing they are loose fitting allowing our skin to breathe, this also acts in the same way as a tepid bath will cool our body temperatures.

Our scalps lose a lot of heat due to the amount of blood flow around our brains thats why we lose so much more heat through our Scalps than any other part of our bodies because it has a larger mass area with which to dispel heat our stomachs have larger area overall, but is covered generally in a larger Fat or Muscle composition so is more insulative.

Essay deadline tomorrow... Supposed to write about mistakes in architectural finishes, with examples gathered from around the city (and the good lord knows we've got embarrassingly many of those...). But I've had one exam almost every day last week and right now I just don't want to write the damn essay  I am procrastinating... been procrastinating all day. and the fact that my boss delicately put me on hold because I'm the youngest in the studio and "you still got school to go to, right? just work on that for a while... and the economical crisis is upon us... so I'll call you when we've got more work to do."
So... Essay...no essay/Job... no job/Choice?...no choice... PROCRASTINATION!

and about snow? only had one joke of a snow-storm this winter... where are the times when we got a decent white Christmas instead of the grayish, dirty, slouchy excuse for snow we get these days? :( and this excuse for a snow is the one that usually goes glass-ice. luckily, it was too warm even for that this year. soon, we'll be having no winter at all. just a perpetual autumn-spring between one summer and another. and to think we used to have knee-high snow once or twice the winter some years ago... i miss those times :(
