Thank you for sharing. I never saw this Pictures. He has a flatscreen in 1979 ??? I had guess this was developed around the year 2000 . I can remember if this was a worldpremiere at the IFA Berlin near this time. How can it be ?

I'm not sure but to me it looks like some kind of projected screen. Projectors has been around for a very long time.

I think Jarre is a big fan of science fiction and astronomy. He's definitely namechecked Arthur C Clark and Stephen Hawking so it doesn't surprise me that he's also a 'Forbidden Planet' fan.

Actually, I would be interested in seeing a list of Jarre's favorite movies.
