Wow!

And this is only part one! The trailer puts the whole project in context now...

I knew about volume 2, but I was specifically referring to the "30 collaborators" part

To be honest, everything I heard so far from this so-called album sounds pretty horrible to me. :|

"If!" is the weakest song, collaboration and track story the far. I suppose the track was designed to attract a younger generation to JMJ.

So actually the vocal part was done by Victoria entirely - which got processed by Jarre.

Also, the musical build-up is by JM instead.

This is just also proves that he can compose and mind almost any style of music.

We have heard their music. JMJ is stratosphere in comparison.

If you are going to make these wink wink statements,
You need to back it up with proof, not silly assumptions.

They are different minds...to each other and to JMJ.

Then Vangelis could be Frederick Rousseau.

Teo & Tea for starters. And there is nothing "atmospheric JMJ" about 'IF!'.
Keep in mind that I absolutely love JMJ...perhaps more than you; and I'm entitled to my own thoughts and opinions....including the occasional "wink" 😉

I agree Vumika about "if" . For me it´s only an odinary small Popsong. Not this kind of musical art I love and need. Ok ...maybe good to reach Teenagers ? :?

Each to their own. ;)

But I'll say this: I remember when someone leaked Aerology back in 2004, and my immediate first thought was "this must be fake, there's no way JMJ could be responsible for this filth" and how shocked I was when it turned out to be genuine. Luckily, I haven't felt like that over anything JMJ has done ever since, but I haven't been particularly impressed by a lot of his work ever since either.

( Funnily enough, PSB's 2012 track Winner caused the same reaction in me and the rather lackluster downtempo Elysium made me really worried over them, until they r0x0red all b0x0rs (and ohter underwear) with 2013's Electric. :] )
