I don't know, I need soe more talk from JMJ's side etc to judge.

Btw. this album sounds too perfect to be a bad joke.

well, sure, a promo is official. At least it is released to selected persons only, but a promo has been given out of the hands of the person / group who composed it...

btw: my 666th posting :mryellow:

I think long term fans and followers of Jarre should be given some credit. It's style, we can spot a Van Gogh from a painting by Joe Blogs who works in the local supermarket

Even if this turns out *not* to be the March album release we have been expecting, it's certainly got Jarres trade marks all over it.

yeah, you're right. But even I can't tell. Only some passages that I comment as "yes, that's typical for him".

If I'd listen to this album with "DJ Antoine" written on the cover, I'd probably say "nice work", but nothing else.

Something else: I guess it's more easy to fake an instrumental album, because vocals can't be faked.

Please don't get me wrong, but:

1) I like that album
2) Just about **ANYTHING** can happen in this world
3) Jarre fights against pirating music, so pre-releasing a fake album (done by whoever) would be top notch of leading all bootleggers into the wrong direction (but unfortunately, all fans also)
4) long term fans will buy the album even if it turns out to be utter crap.....

what if this a new fake?
Nah....I don't think so.....

How ever I let open the possibility that maybe...just maybe there will be a second / additional release (call it a second album) which is not so dance related. But that is just wishful thinking I guess.....it is definitely not something I have read somewhere but merely a wish..... :)

However some artists do release sometimes more that 1 album simultaneously which differ from each other. And Jean Michel did mention he wants to release more versions of the tracks (evolved version so to say) so who knows.....

You never know with the kind of mystery (little to none promotion / publicity = the Warner experimient) this release is surrounded..... :?
I think you just might be correct

BTW: I Really enjoy the new Téo & Téa album no matter who it is, hehehe...

I have to say, some good points have been bought forward regarding this 'promo'. It has even been making me re-think. Some things I do find odd about it. If it's a 'promo', why is Jarres name not attached to it, we are the only one's who have smacked the label on it. Also, if the album is not out until March 26th, a 9th of Feb release is too early (or am I wrong on this). Also, while listening to the CD I have made in my CD player, I get the feeling this is not mastered, the tracks sound 'raw'. The 'speak & spell' voice samples during 'Touch To Remember' are too loud for the rest of the track. . . Or I can put this down to the download from the net.
