which is fine,each to there own,but when your getting it for free from Korg,you would have thought he would of had the deceny to say "Ok it not quite what I like in a synth how about this or that improvements Korg".
Instead of having it given for nothing and being so ungreatful saying its useless,seems funny that he slagged it off but it was seen many times gracing his live rig!!!and I suspect his used it more than he cares to admit to..
From what I know, the distorted acid sound from Smack My Bitch Up was what it was used for. I could still pull out an almost 100% replica on my Nord.

I am probably one of those who could take the risc and buy the SH-201 as I am interested in getting a synth with the supersaw for trance sounds, it will always be better for trance pads than most other typical VAs, like the nords for instance
But then again you can get a used JP8k for the same price as the SH-201.

What about a Virus TI, another so called typical VA synth, but you can stack countless saw waves upon each other. Far superior to the supersaw thing, imho. I don't believe trance muzak is just supersaws, but I wouldn't wonder if it was

Nah trance is not just supersaws, but I can't get that special pad I am looking for without the supersaw. Yes I'd like to have a TI over most other synths, they are just too expensive. I think Access calls it Hypersaw or something.

I (ofcourse) also want a TI, but strange enough, the one I tested seemed to have an enormous latency (almost like my OB12), and I didn't notice too much of that 80(?) voice polyphony...
But every great artist used one, and you get huge sounds out of it, so I might buy one... once... :mryellow:

It shouldn't have any latency as far as i know, btw did you know that you can get your OB12 latency problem fixed?
Someone mentioned it on the VSE forum.
