It sounds like you and your doggy had a lucky escape.
It's really amazing, if you think about the small details e.g. a minute here or a minute there could have changed the outcome.

Had Thanksgiving dinner at my brother's, after which most of us repaired downstairs to watch "The Polar Express" on DVD. Nice time with family

Thanks GJ. My shoulder is fine, although it is hurting a bit, but the pain have nothing to do with the contact with the car.
