All this about the same sounds reminds me of the original recordings of CiC, however it doesn't bother me, that's just how it works. Some complained about playback, now it is time to complain about too much live playing?
Im just waiting, no matter what, this seems to be one of the coolest JMJ projects ever in a long time.

I've always said that it doesn't matter if he plays live or not, people are gonna whine no matter what 8)

DVD version will be correction. Everything will be perfect. No false, no out of sync, no errors :(

Nobody knows that for sure and I won't say that CiC is the proof for doing that trick, but I won't reject it. Let's just wait and see.
Damn how typically that people always start focusing on the bad things, would you have preferred nothing?

Probably that he made quite a few mistakes, which I don't care about at all. At least it was live. 8)
Can't he play the main meloday of Oxy2 ?? ( i don't know which smiles are correct to put them here... :? :| :o :wtf2: ...) Can somebody explain this? :P
Listen to the Concerts In China (1981) radio broadcast - he makes a few mistakes there as well. He had not much time to prepare this event and he did a lot of playback recently, so for me it's enough he at least plays live. I don't care about the mistakes.
Oxygene 6 false ???
I think he meant out of tune. What would you expect with them old analogs on stage. :smoke:
Some people expect the impossible! :punch:
What if i say : he just need time to do more "analog sessions" for live ! (...but he has used them for 20 years... )
Sounds like an awesome idea to me ;)
So : :D and
Nah, just :D

8)
100% agree :peacemaan:

As for the first China concert sounding terrible, why do people keep saying that? Despite the instruments sounding rather weak, that could be considered horrible, but the arrangements follow the songs pretty exactly and JMJ only plays a few bum notes (most notably during Oxygene 2).

Anyhow, I want to hear this audio recording myself before making judgements.

OMG'sh what is happening here? :D

If JMJ is really trying the old-school stuff "live" so please let the mistakes be a part of it.
It's one thing if Jarre is fighting with his own "perfectionist" and another if someone else wants to correct him -DON'T! :smoke:
There are usually mistakes in live improvisations and I don't mind...if it really is about the old Oxygene tracks it's the most interesting thing that has happen in years...KEEP IT UP. :fine: 8)
