Well, when listening to the snippet of Magnetic Fields 1, Starink comes to mind.
And that, I can understand completely. But then listen to the rest of MF1 and some other great tracks to find out this albums beauty. The weakness is in the synth programming, but this is not important compared to what the rest has to offer.

@Jarp2600: I do not think they are better. They could just function as different versions, which are in this case brilliant. IMO.
