A good country, in my opinion, requires the following:
- Secular government
- Free healthcare
- Good human rights record
- High civil liberties, like Holland
- Decent public safety
After that, whether it be Communist or Conservative, it really doesn't matter.

Leaving all other points...nothing like "free healthcare" really exists. "Free" means "paid from your taxes". "Free" means "national". And "national" means "nobody's".
In Poland we
theoritically have free health-care. I don't know any single person who is satisfied by medical care, especially when considering how many useless clerks responsible for health premiums Poles have to pay for. It leads to the situation when people pay twice - for public health care, and for private doctors - to be cured on a decent level. Of course if you have money...if not you have to deal on national treatment (by the way - horribly corrupted).
But many people think: "What??? Healt care's privatization? Do you try to tell me that I would have to PAY for curing???" Thay don't realize how much of their money is wasted.
If you're private doctor you have to care about quality of your service. If you work for public money...answer yourself.
