Always interested in new gear, the video peaked my ineterest for sure. But why is the rack so expensive??? For that price I'd be tempted to get a Poly Evolver rack.

Racks are fine if you've got an actual rack. When you haven't, it's a bit hard to buy them.

I'm with Jarp here... I don't like racked synths much either...

Having loads of synths as opposed to rack equivilants is fine.....

Given the choice i think i would rather have a large rack of synth modules than a stack of synths....Already onwing 16 keyboards in the studio is becoming a pain in the ass,i have had to rearrange and build myself a bespoke unit to house them all and thats without the Rest of the gear in the studio....

AT this moment I'm slowly replacing most of the synths for the Racks,I already sold the M1 and Wavestation this year(got the KLC anyway)next is to replace the Roland D50 For the D550 and the Korg Trinity for the TR rack....

No, that's not what I mean, but IF there is a keyboard-version, why buying the rack???, exept for if you have no enough room?
Ofcourse I like analog modular synths!

Only in case a synth can't be programmed from the keyboard either (but does have great sounds, or offers PC editing) I'd go with a racked version, or when I don't have enough room... but otherwise I agree with Jarp

My studio (if you want to call it that) has 3 boards on my right, 3 boards in front with a mixing table, two boards on the left with samplers etc. computer/monitors, and effects pedals everywhere. I've got a D50 and wanted a second one. Where to put it? Had to get a rack. I prefer boards to racks but I'm outta space.

Don't get me wrong though, I do love a nice big rack
