I think FR forgot to mention many synths more! JMJ uses always more than 8 synths for studio-albums. So, there is still hope for vintage synths

As I remembered, it was Jarre who was testing it and was very positive about it.
They are just in the beginning of the recording phase, so who knows...maybe it will be

Surely he'll have to either re-buy them or hire them though. Didn't he ditch a lot of it? I know he kept some EMS stuff but didn't the 2600 go?

I think you misquoted the Oxygene 7-13 presskit there. He said he didn't use no more than 8 elements...

I think he just haven't rigged it up. From the quicktime file of the croissy studio, I could spot the ARP 2500 placed deep in the studio on the floor and much other stuff is placed like it was just pulled out from a storage room. I know that is not his current studio but I think he didn't sell it. Someone did also post a quote from an interview some years ago where he mentioned that he was collecting vintage synths

He talked about a personal museum himself, yes. But that might as well be just a name for the storage room..., who knows...

I know he kept all of his instruments, specially the customized ones, they are and will remain in his property...
