Casio CZ5000 !

Well, it's sort of like VZ, but not exactly the thing I heard from mine , so yeah, voting for CZ then, too

CASIO (CZ-1/3000/5000) could be possible cause of this curious ringmod and the relative noisy output (specially if Chorus is being used). And i believe that i´ve already heard the last sound example on my CZ3000 in "standard" form. So i go too for CASIO, and, since i never heard a 5000 in action, i say the 3000.

Yes the chorus is noisy and as you have guessed it....

It's the CASIO CZ-5000

Nice things about the CZ5k is the multi stage envelopes as you can hear in the voice like sounds and the characterfull RingMod. Wave forms are nice too. In theory the CZ3000 is identical to the CZ5000. The CZ5000 just has the 8 track onboard sequencer extra... The CZ series use Phase Distortion that can sound like FM but it's not... Only the bell sound was a preset. The rest is created by myselve a loong loong time ago...

Possible. Don´t know what´s on my two CZ´s preset and what was already edited, never done a "factory reset" (is this possible at all on the CZ?)...i played a while with them, but the programming stresses very much. Ok, it maybe -has- a sense how the programming works, but it is for me too much stress tweaking being busy with parameters....

No not really. the only thing you can do is init a patch and store that to all available programs. You also could remove the batteries then you end up with blank patches (no sound).

Programming is just part of the fun! The layout is pretty workable and the parameters make sense too....

sometimes i was almost sure that it was jx3p... pretty close sounds to some presets the only thing that didn't fit was this fm sound...
