The Casio PT 1 replaced the Casio VL1 (see pic), the VL 1 was better in the fact that it had a programming of sorts, LCD screen and calculator.
The Human League used it alot on the "DARE" album (Get Carter track) where the Fantasy sound was used, but the most famous track with a VL1 / PT1 was "Da Da Da" by German band TRIO where they used the Rock 1 rhythm.
