Convincing? Imo a cover version has to be different, an artists very own version. What's the point in trying to copy an original exactly?

Geezus, are Gino Marinello and Ed Starink actually included as an option to choose from, f*ck them for starters, I have their cd's, I keep them as a bad example (know your enemy, musically), a lot of equipment, but no clue:-)
I'd go for Per and Frequenz then, I have some their (probably most) remakes, the only Jarre remakes I'm impressed with in terms of wanting to listen to time and time again, especially Per did a great job on Supermarkets I think.

I really doubt that Gino Marinello has lot of equipment. I know his cover versions and they are really, really bad.

Saying that Ed Starink has no clue shows perfectly that you have no clue about him at all.

But discussing with people like you is also rather senseless. Some mothers do have them...
