The Talking Pedal is an effects pedal from the 70s, so I doubt you would be able to re-build it using todays components anyway..

Strange, I searched for the EH DRM-16 and found a lot of people selling the TP schematic for 8 USD and so on ... It is out there everywhere ...

No, it should be easy. Most effects pedals use simple components, if there is a strange IC it is usually available on the internet. I doubt the Talking Pedal would use valves, there'd be no real point in that.

There are a few components that are a little hard to find. I´ve recently tried to fix two electroharmonix pedals, one mistress deluxe and one regular mistress. I have an DRM-16 on the table now for modification.

What I can tell you is some components can be replaced with others.

Transistor BC309 is the same as BC559 or if you can not find that one try NTE 159.

In the DRM there is a component called EH1048 which is the same thing as CA3094.

The LMs are available today.

Then there are some BBDs in the mistress, I am not sure if they where called SAD 1024 or something like that and these can be replaced with
TDA´s version of the same chip.

CA3080´s can be a little hard to find in shops as these are not made anymore. Though Ebay has plenty of sources for that chip.

Finally found the Schemos for the EH TP. In fact I found two of them

EH Talkingpedal1
EH Talkingpedal2

There are 2 unmarked Op amps in the schemo I have researched it a little bit and EH used a lot of RC 4558 op amps in their creations. This chip is more known as MC 4558 today. This chip also matches the Op amp and its ins & outs and so forth on the schemo, so it just has to be the RC4558.

For the moment, a friend of mine is trying to make a PCB with that.
It'll surely have 3 different TP :
- the usual one
- one without pedal but with a LFO
- one with an IC

I'll let you know anyway
