I would also use the word truthfull to describe my music. No plastic music to my cup of tea!

I don't know any IRL people with the same music taste or just similar as I, They are not even close, what a shame.
I often describe it as Electronic music. I don't listen to music without use of synthesizers.
I listen to some Hip Hop music, but lyrics are not important to me, I prefer instrumental music or vocoders.
I mainly listen to 80's soundwise synthmusic like Italo. I also like a genre specified as Dutch Disco, it's almost the same as Italo, just with a mixture of Detroit Techno.
Legowelt is the king of this music genre
I also listen to some trance music especially instrumental.
I have also started to like what some people call background music... The Crystal Method.

Usually, my musical tastes change month by month.
This month I'm into alternative rock.
But next month I'll probably be listening to ambient.
But after that, I'll be back into acid!!!

I don't know muc acid but I like music with the classic TB-303 acidlines.
