I don't like the look of this either, but I do like other traditional keytar from Roland and the Yamaha KX series. The Liberation is cool. The Syntar looks like a piece of plank attached to a standard synth.

I guess that the look of the 70's that was still going on at that time, you'll find just about everything was more square in those days, with simple lines

Looks like JM's new "musical project" is gonna kick some serious butt.
Frankly speaking, I think these preset bend buttons are perfect for JM. Soloing is not his problem. Pitchbending is. Or at least, using a ribbon. Which is quite useless in deed.
