It took me some time to appriciate it, this was something totally different than anything else he had done before, but after hearing the tracks from that album live (like Bells) it knocked me over. For me it's very clear to hear the personal situation Jarre is in at that time. Gloria is beautifull!

My favourites are C'est la vie, Rendez-vous á Paris, Tout est bleu, Miss Moon and Gloria.... As i read on previous forum, Meta is a BRILLIANT album!

Again a somewhat different direction for JMJ.
Real nice to hear him branch out and not be constricted by other people around him.
The "bang" intro to nearly every track should have been excluded though.

About album....I really like it...."Rendez-Vous A Paris" is so great, so as "Silhouette", "C'est La Vie", "Miss Moon", "Millions Of Star", "Gloria Lonely Boy"....yes, I could wtrite them all
(but "Tout Est Bleu" would be definetely the last
).
I liked the way Jarre talked about this album in the film.
And I love him using this "oriental feel" in his work

MANY highlights.
MILES better than Aero (which I have not bought and do Not recommed to new listeners).
I am Very happy to play Meta to new listeners, even more than Oxygene for example
simply brecause Meta shows different styles within it, with a contemporary Jarre edge.

Been recently listening to more and more of this album. I've decided that it is FANTASTIC
...
The thing I can't really understand though is why so many people hate Love Love Love, which I found an innovative and catchy song.
