I've just checked mine again... Plastic end caps, painted metal on the control pannel (probably aluminium, it's very thin and light) and plywood under the synth.
(and plastic where the pitch wheel is).

I have seen it for an affordable price. It is just bothering me that I don't remember where I found it.

juno 60 is my juno of choice. I owned two different juno 60's and three different 106's over the years. (don't have any juno at the moment).
the 60 sounds warmer, definitely and the 106 has the problem of failing voices which I've never heard happening to a 60.
also you can get dcb-midi-dcb interface for the 60 which controls about anything and even gives you extra lfo waveforms etc.. there's some Check company that still makes these.

Good for arpeggiated sounds.
