Who says he didn't? Maybe he used some of those themes, but reworked them with new instruments...

Well I think he can...He just needs to stop being so perfectionist,and be a bit more humanised to his live approach I'd much rather him play a Few melody lines with a bum note here and there than just bash away with no respect for what hes doing..

I have every faith in his abilities,he just needs to overcome his insecurities of not playing live..Teo and Tea is the sort of album that he could get away with running sequences live,with a couple melody lines overdubbed by Jarre,there isn't that much thats intricate playing on this album anyway,and certainly less melodical than his more natural themes,he could Quite easily improvise the tracks live without too much fuss,he used pretty Minimal instruments anyway(couple of synths and Groove box)

Glastonbury isn't the sort of place you want to be doing what he has done..He'll get crucified for it,and most certainly wouldn't get any respect... whilst he may run sequences he won't get away with Miming whatsoever so he'll need to express some real playing even if everything else is run from Dat or a sequencer..

I have my reservations as to whether this will come to fruition anyway,He mentioned about it before,but nothing materialised...

Sure, I have unfinished parts of Oxygène that I’d like to release one day, and other tracks from different projects that could come out in the next year or so.

Thanks. That was the best news I've heard about JMJ since the official announcement of Teo&Tea!

What would you change about your past?
I would go the same way, most times, but probably the relationship with my father [composer, Maurice Jarre] over the years. It’s much better now, but it could’ve been much fulfilled, because it was difficult for quite a while. So that would be it.

There’s also lots of tapes from when I was at school, but I don’t know where the tapes are. It was experimental punk trash, with lots of echo. One band I had was called The Dust Bins [laughs].

Who would you like to work with?
Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Arcade Fire and Goldfrapp – I’m a big fan.

Well, maybe to build since these excerpts or sketchs the music which he has in his head for the 7-13 was too dificult.

Anywaym these wrods are very interesting, but no diferent of many others musicians.

Actually, when was the last time Jarre actually performed live? I'm assuming Printemp de Bourges was live, and CPT '95 certainly sounded live?

Oxygene tour definetly had its Live overdubbing,you can hear mistakes all over the place on certain tracks,and the laser harp was in no way Mimed for sure,and the same in Moscow

Exactly, even the Aero concert had it's visible live moments.

Geese ! If I had Jarre on interview, question about karaoké would be about the last question I would possibly think of ! Completely senseless.

I'd rather question him a bit more about his unrelased works.
