Not really. Roland decided to use the almost cheapest potentiometers they could get for the Jp8K. And since it uses a buggy ADC-Conversion for read out the potentiometers, it will cause problems like hell, when they start to wear out.The Jp recognizes -each- mm of knob turning and doesn´t "check" if a value changement could be "possible", even it is too fast. And if a pot looses contact, it will change its value between a few miliseconds from the old value to -zero- or even a random value. This sounds really nice when it happens on cutoff/reso.
